Scientists in New Zealand have discovered a baby ghost shark, a rare fish that lives deep in the
ocean.
Chimera sharks,

common than young ghost sharks. A baby egg-laying ghost shark has recently been
caught near the southern island at a depth of 1.2 km.
Scientists

searching for the ghost shark, said the discovery of the baby ghost shark was
"accidental" and that he had found it while researching an underwater
creature.
"It's very
difficult to find species found in deep water," said Dr. Finucci. Ghost

Scientists at the
National Institute of Water and Atmospheric Research say the found ghost shark
